December 2 2007: Fantastic location. You can walk anywhere downtown (Navy Pier, Magnificent Mile is literally at your doorstep) you could even walk to the museum/aquarium complex and grant park. Easy access to the "El" to other parts of the city. Unforunately, parking is super super expensive, as it is everywhere downtown. It's not a fancy hotel by any means, but it's very comfortable and affordable for its location.

Location. The Inn of Chicago Magnificent Mile stands one half block from Magnificent Mile shops in Chicago, Ill. Rush Street's restaurants, bars and nightclubs are located two blocks away. Navy Pier is four blocks from the hotel. Hotel Features. This contemporary property offers a lobby with natural cotton/linen seating separated by gold gauze partitions, an artistic faux fireplace that generates radiant heat, zebra print ottomans, and windows dressed with earth tone silk curtains and crystal beaded screens. The InnBar is illuminated with background lighting displayed in a rotation of aqua blue, ruby red, amethyst and gold. The bar offers a wide selection of beers, cocktails and fine wines. Café Lavazza serves pastries, paninis, and homemade gelato in traditional European flavors. A business center houses two computer stations, and offers print, fax and photocopy services for fees. A total of 6,000 square feet of function space accommodates up to 150 people. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. A limited hour, complimentary fitness room houses free weights, and cardiovascular and weight training equipment. The hotel offers passes, for a fee, to the Lakeshore Athletic Club Center, located two blocks away.
Guestrooms. This 22 story property offers 357 guestrooms in modern and traditional designs. Traditional accommodations feature oak tone furnishings and small seating areas. Modern style guestrooms display espresso tone furnishings. Beds are dressed with 260 thead count linens and duvets. Bathrooms feature basin sinks and are stocked with Gilchrist & Soames toiletries. Coffeemakers are provided, and refrigerators are available on request. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee.
Expert Tip. It is worth the time to stop at the InnBar where the drink to order is the bar's signature martini, the Inntrigue.
