May 3 2008: Hard to go wrong with a Westin, especially one with an amazing location like this: right on the Chicago River, within walking distance of the Loop businesses, the River North nightlife and the lakefront. Modern rooms and a pleasant, friendly staff make this one of my favorite hotels anywhere.

May 31 2008: Very nice room. They splurged on all the basics you care about - comfy bed, nice shower/bathroom, and good tv. Also, the decor is very pleasing. There are some rooms with good views of the city and river. The morning breakfasts and evening appetizers on the club floor were great.

I have always loved to travel since I was a kid. I have no qualms about picking up and going somewhere to explore. I am originally from New Orleans and now live in Atlanta.I fly about 2 times per week for work (mostly the Midwest). Chicago has become my second home...travelhard!

June 26 2007: I have recently become a huge Starwood Properties fan because they seem to work harder to adhere to my needs. Moreover, their SPG program is much better than any other hotel group. For instance, I'm in Chicago every other week on business. I spoke to several hotels in the area about arranging a special rate...many of the hotels denied me because I don't have enough nights. The Westin found a way to make it work for me.
I spend 90% of my time between 35 West Wacker and 225 North Michigan (inside the loop), and I probably make 4-5 trips a day to those buildings. The Westin acts as my second office. The rooms are large Heavenly King Size beds, all have LCD TVs and a workspace ideal for business. The views overlooking the river are wonderful. There are many great restaurants/bars within blocks for entertaining clients.
