Nothing Special North of Baltimore
Business People, Events & Meetings, Families, Not Luxurious, Not Stylish
This is the first review written about this hotelApril 11 2008: My husband and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Timonium north of Baltimore.  We were visiting family who lives in the area so the decision was based on location alone.  This hotel is directly off of 83, so in terms of a cental location, this hotel fit the bill for us.

This hotel used to be a Holiday Inn, but recently underwent a renovation, but it didn't seem all that renovated.  The place is starting to show its age.

There were tons of groups staying at the hotel.  There was a gun show, dancing competition and a few weddings taking place the weekend stayed there.

Our room was quite small because it was a corner room. The linens looked attractive at a glance, but the white duvet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.  There was also a air freshener odor in the room that was very powerful.  They had used way too much of it.The bathroom was nice and clean and a fine size. The breakfast was fine, nothing special.

If you need a convenient hotel north of Baltimore that is moderately priced, I would recommend this hotel.  It is nothing fancy, but it is perfectly sufficient.
