June 26 2008: I stayed here four years ago for business and nailed a good rate thru hotels.com - at the time the lobby/bar was under construction. There was no room service or restaurant at the time but they offered a continental breakfast. I believe I missed that every a.m. I forgot my laptop on this trip and they provided me with their front desk laptop when needed, at the time the connection was slow and crashed often. (it was a DELL, too -blah!) I remember the staff being very friendly. My room was nice, small but nice. I had a king bed so it took up most of the space. It was clean and it had a nice size armoire for my clothes (no closet) They were in the midst of some upgrades so a lot was going on when I was there. It provided me a good night sleep and it was quiet in my room. I chose this hotel b/c it was cheap and midtown - close to where I needed to be for work. They provide parking but for a fee - I believe it was 40 then. My gal pal joined me one night and valeted her car but they do not allow in & out parking.
My parents stayed here in Sept 2006 and really enjoyed it. They were pleased with their room and the hotel but I believe they paid about 375...but they were bawking when they saw the size of my jr suite at The Affinia close by which was almost half the price. It is a nice little hotel and I have walked by it a few times in the last few years and the new lobby/bar looks nice. I would consider staying here again.
* I just looked at the hotel photos on here and the hotel looks completely different from when I stayed here. It looks great and looks like a complete makeover, so I will def check it out again.
