Modern Hyatt in the Heart of Downtown Seattle
Downtown, Modern, Stylish, Shopping, Sightseeing, Business People, Events & Meetings, Tourists
November 28 2007: I stayed at this hotel for a wedding back in June. Due to its location, I would say that this hotel doubles as a business hotel as well as a leisure hotel. It's downtown and walking distance to all the retail in downtown Seattle and even to Pike Place Market.

The hotel itself is fairly modern. I have no complaints about the room we stayed in. It was clean, amenities were decent, furniture was chic.

The hotel does charge a fee for wireless internet. However, I would say that one key benefit for those traveling is that in the main lobby of the hotel, there is a kiosk at which you can pre check in for you flight leaving from SEA-TAC. Very convenient, especially if you're in a rush!

One last note about this hotel is that it is connected to a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.  Great to meet friends for a drink, but even better for those carnivores out there.

Date of stay: June 2007
Purpose of stay: Leisure (With Friends/Group)

Hotel Of My Choice In Downtown Seattle
Modern, Quiet, Stylish
This is the first review written about this hotelJuly 21 2007: I have stayed at a quite a few hotels in this city - and I'd like to say that while they could certainly kick the service up a notch and be a little more personal, the rooms are modern & comfortable and you cannot beat the location of this place if you're looking to stay downtown.

It can get pricey depending on the time of the year.  Worth the money, I say.  The lobby is never loud or over-populated with non-hotel guests; and they serve a nice breakfast at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse :)

Pikes Place is a short walk away; Starbucks is right by the hotel - in fact the hotel has it's own entrace... and great shopping just outside the hotel doors!

The regular rooms can sometimes be a little claustophobic but the corner rooms are great!
