Love to find a new spot. Enjoyed South America and New Orleans recently. Like activity, but food and wine a must. With wife Nature, and boutique hotel - with fellas then it is Hunting, fishing and games. Always love Water.

December 2 2007: Billed as your own private Island - the hotel (resort) lives up to this vision. You are welcomed at the airport by the captain and crew - you are quickly shuttled across the harbor and through some islands to Guana. Beautiful Island with waling trails, interested guests (from the 30 yr visitor to the newbie (us!)). Staff was great. Jason was the new GM when we arrived and he bent over backward to make sure that everything lived up to our expectations. Activities included: hiking, swimming, scuba, kayaks, spa, and total relaxation. The down side is that the resort is pricey and for the money they do not deliver on the food. We have spoken with the managers about the food, and they have been looking for a chef to help to bring consistency to the dinners. We had three great dinners, one okay and one bad. I appreciate their listening to us and acknowledging the issue. We will definitely consider going back.
