I'll take any excuse to be near the water - even better if it's warm. When I travel, I love to be outside, preferably with a beautiful, luxe hotel room to look forward to returning to. Other loves: epic thunderstorms and a particular 2.5 mile stretch of beach in the Caribbean

I have no time or money to travel. My ideal vacation is visiting friends and crashing on their couch and eating their food. It just seems like home when you are with someone you love!!

I'm originally from California, but live in Argentina, with frequent trips to Mexico. I travel mostly for business, but my ideal vacation always involves snow, especially in Canada.

I prefer a combination of activity (hiking, jogging, swimming) on vacation, relaxation (reading), and good meals. Small hotels are preferable to big chains and historical settings are ideal.
